Before we get to Johnny Madrid and the quest for the golden Latrine, I've got some things to share...
Well, actually this didn't come out of the blue, i've been chosen by the Amazing, Isabela Bittencourt, from Toughsoul to share 10 things i love. You have to use pictures too.
In my turn, i have to choose 10 other bloggers to do the same. The ones that are chosen, are asked to choose some other bloggers to do it as well... but we'll get to that later. Let's get started shall we?
10. I Iove the 90's!
I love it. LOVE IT with a passion. It's the time i grew up in. My teenage years. Bell Biv Devoe, Tevin Campbell, The last boyscout, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jodeci...man i could go on and on. It was a great time that i will always treasure.
09. I love Bakpao buns.
Those delicious chicken or beef filled hot, steamed buns. I don't mean the one's you get from the frozen food section, no, no my friends...the freshly made buns, like the ones i get from the Indonesian corner store close to where i live. Take one bite and you'll experience pure bliss....hmmm. Other people need crack, smack, sex or gambling. I need Bakpao. *Mental note: Must get some tomorrow*.
08. I love videogames
Yes, indeed. I'm still a gamer. Have been since the days of Leisure suit Larry and still going strong. My latest thing is Kinect. Yeah, i have one of those. Check out my great rendition of the Tom Jones Classic "It's not unusual."
07. I love Comic books.
Oh no, excuse me...Graphic novels. Since the olden days of marvel i've been following the adventures of men and women in tights. My tastes have evolved though, reading more artful fare like Flight or Sandman. I love the artwork and the stories...excellent stuff.
06. I love reading books
Yes, i do love reading "normal" books too. To think that as a wee lad i absolutely hated reading. Than one day a lovely lady crossed my path and showed me the wonderful ways of words and writing. From Animal Farm, War of the Worlds to World War Z, Salem's Lot and Star Wars novels. I love 'em all. Now, I'm reading the latest adventure of our favorite British Spy of her majesties secret service. He has Carte Blanche...
05. I love movies
Love it. I have boxes full of movies. They inspired me, they made me what i aspire to be. That is a film maker/writer. Simple as that. *Oh, this is not an actual picture of my collection*.
4. I love movie making!
Haven't done it since my school days but the game is afoot. Things are in motion again. Screenplays are being written and connections are being made. It will happen again. For now, enjoy a little scene from "Multi-Midget". A student film my mates and me made about a little cleaning robot (played by the excellent midget actor, Chris Willemsen) that malfunctions and instead of cleaning up the garbage, it decides to clean up the family it lives with. Look out for the 6 year anniversary of this flick. I'm going to re-edit it, it's going to get a new music score, an English dub (it's Dutch spoken) and new visual effects. Yes, we are going to George Lucas the hell out of this thing! After that, new projects will follow and you'll see what we are really capable of.
3. I love people that take me the way i am.
No, big stories or explanations. There was a time i tried to change for someone else. Not ever again. I am who i am. If you don't like that...your problem. *Thanks Lucas, for lending me your hipster glasses for this photo hehehe*.
2. I love my friends.
Takes me back to point 3. You know who you are. The people close to me and blogosphere mates. You are awesome...

Without you i would not have survived a very dark period in my life. You are everything to me.

Woot, the 90's!!!! I wholeheartedly approve of your love for that decade! I know when I get older I'm going to be ultra-uncool to my kids because I'll be all into "oldies" 90s tunes... But I don't care! Sure beats Lady Gaga, if you ask me. :)
