Audio Adventures!

This one is for people who are in to Audio books and Audio drama's...

Back in 2000 I went to Disney World in Florida. I had a wonderful time. It really was a place of wonders and magic. It even worked its magic on my wallet. My money disappeared faster before I could say: "isn't that piece of Micky Mouse pizza a little overpriced?". Being the geek I am I immediately went looking for Star Tours. It totally rocked me left and right and I loved it. I still love it! Can't wait for the sequel! But I digress...Afterwards I ended up in a Star Wars store. Looked around saw these cool Darth Vader Masks, T-shirts, action figures and..."Audio books"? What the hell was that?! I bought Rogue Planet on cassette tape. I had a few days left in America but also at the same time I couldn't wait to return to go home and listen to this book. And thus started my love for Audio drama's and adventures.

All right, Fast-forward. 2010. I own a lot of Audio books now. Star Wars and non-Star Wars. I thought I've heard it all and knew all about it. Then I discovered something on I-tunes:

The Leviathan Chronicles. Awesome story and even greater voice acting. I could write an entire page about this but I won't. You should hear this for yourself. Written by Christof Laputka. Take a listen to it. It'll blow you away.

There is also Darker Projects. They have a lot of audio drama's ranging from sci-fi, horror to superhero adaptations. A team of talented individuals such as Eric Busby, Chris Snyder, Laura Post, Mark Bruzee and others write, direct and perform these gems. Check it out!

Last but not least an Incredible Star Wars Audio drama by Creative Audioscape. A must hear for any Star Wars fans out there. Star Wars: In the Shadows is incredible.

Best thing of all! It's FREE! No charge, no pay, nothing. If anyone know of other great audio drama's on the net...Let me know.

For the people out there that never listened to something like this. Just give it a try. Perhaps you'll get hooked like me. You'll want to listen to the next chapter and the next and the next etc. It's very addictive in a good way.

I do still read real books by the way, you know with paper and stuff. What is this I keep hearing about these 2 geeky girls? I'll look in to that and get back to you about that.

Johnny Madrid signing off...I've got some audio drama's to download.
